If you are importing multiple emails for a Lead or Contact through the CSV/XLSX file, the first email of the record will be matched as the identifier. Excel is a more recent spreadsheet application from Microsoft and it saves the data with its own file format. It uses commas to separate each entry in a row and the newline symbol to go to the next row.
